Picture Segment Description

SCENE 1 Oscar finds Zoe playing with a toy dinosaur next to his trash can. She wants him to see her play, but he dismisses her being "cutesy-poo." Zoe spots Gordon on the steps, but as he heads back inside, he takes the little dinosaur Zoe was playing with. Oscar notices how bothered she is, so he shows her how to act furious. Zoe tries to copy what Oscar says in a Grouchy way, but she can barely act angry. Oscar vows to help teach Zoe, dubbing her as a student in his "How to Show People You're Angry School."

SCENE 2 Zoe keeps practicing being angry, but to no avail. Oscar (now wearing a mortarboard) decides to show her visual aids about the feeling, using an illustration of Zoe being angry. She ends up laughing when she sees the picture, prompting Oscar to come up with another method – reading a book. Oscar leaves his trash can to retrieve the aptly-named book Learning How to Show People You're Angry, one he read as a young Grouch. "Where do you find a book like that?", Zoe wonders.

SCENE 3 Zoe and Oscar enter the library in search of the book, but find there's a long line of patrons at Linda's desk. Oscar admits how waiting makes him angry, so he gives Zoe a lesson by yelling for everyone to clear a path. His lesson backfires when Carlo and the others ask him to wait his turn. Zoe explains their problem to Carlo, and they graciously let her and Oscar ask Linda for their book. She uses her computer database to search for it.

SCENE 5 Zoe tells Oscar that Linda should talk to the lady, but he reminds Zoe how his bargaining will show an example of being angry. Linda and Carlo rush to the table and start talking to the lady, but Oscar intervenes and demands her to hand it over to him. The lady refuses, stating how she won't give the book just because he's angry. Zoe asks her in a more polite way, and she gladly lets them borrow the book, much to Oscar's chagrin.

SCENE 6 As the two return to Sesame Street, Zoe is demonstrating her anger skills she learned from the book. Oscar asks if she's ready to be angry at Gordon, but despite learning much about the emotion, Zoe claims she isn't angry at him, mentioning that the methods she's witnessed didn't solve problems. She proceeds to retrieve her dinosaur her own way, which worries Oscar, but he thinks her way may not work, and walks away in hope.

SCENE 7 Oscar warns Zoe she'd better be angry, when Gordon comes out from his apartment. Zoe explains to him how she was playing with the toy dinosaur and requests for him to give it back, but Gordon denies, prompting Oscar to tell Zoe it didn't work, and that she should show her anger. Immediately, Miles exits the apartment with a dinosaur in his hand – the same one Zoe was playing with. Gordon informs them that it belongs to Miles and was accidentally left outside. Zoe feels sad instead of angry, but Miles says the two of them can play with it together. Zoe thanks Oscar for taking him to the library, which makes him angry, but he shrugs it off. As Zoe and Miles go to play with the dinosaur, Gordon announces the sponsors.
