Elmo recites today's sponsors as Telly blows them from his tuba, which he'll be practicing a lot on today.
Telly explains he's practicing his tuba to play in Bob's Sesame Street Marching Band. His playing is in fine shape, but he needs to also practice his marching. Elmo doesn't think that'll be too hard, but Telly shows how difficult it is to march and play at the same time (falling over each time).
Elmo and Telly continue to practice marching and playing, while a nearby Anything Muppet has a hard time communicating with Maria because of the noise. He notes that Linda or Luis aren't bothered by the noise and Maria explains Linda is deaf (and explains her sign language). They also discover Luis isn't deterred by the noise because of his ear plugs.
Elmo, seeing how much fun the marching band sounds, fetches his violin and shows Telly how well he can emulate the "oompahs" and marching. Together, however, they can't keep from falling over each other as they march.
Luis puts the radio on in the Fix-It Shop, then leaves the room for a moment. Zoe enters and, seeing no one around, shuts off the radio off. Luis comes back to silence and activates his radio, which Zoe turns off again. When Luis finally enters the room when she's present, she explains she's been doing what her mommy told her: turning off electrical appliances when no one's using them to save energy. Luis tells her that won't be necessary, as he'll only be out of the room for a few seconds. As he goes into the back room again, Zoe finds something else to save energy on - the lights.
Linda, Maria, Luis, Zoe, the kids and others gather outside 123 Sesame Street to watch Bob lead the Sesame Street Marching Band in a parade. Everyone applauds as Elmo and Telly march past. Celina announces the sponsors, when Telly and Elmo have another crash encounter just around the corner.
