SCENE 1 Linda comes to Hooper's Store to borrow a can opener and some candles, as she's celebrating somebody's birthday. She makes Gina, Herry and the kids guess using some clues. It turns out to be Barkley's birthday and everyone celebrates.

SCENE 2 In another installment of "As the Word Takes Turns," Little Miss Muffet is once again frightened away by the spider, who assumes a spot on her tuffet. Miss Muffet and Gina reason with the spider, who frightens her away so she can sit on the tuffet; it's the only way she can think of. Gina proposes they take turns instead. Soon after, the two argue over sharing some of Miss Muffet's curds and whey.

SCENE 4 Maria comes across Elmo in the park. He's wearing a mask, trying to scare the rain away, since it's preventing him from playing. Maria helps him understand the many ways rain is helpful. Just as Elmo gets the picture, the rain stops. He then starts calling for it to come back, so the world can benefit from the water. A female voiceover then announces the sponsors.
