[[Ma Gorg|Ma]] and [[Pa Gorg]] leave [[Junior Gorg|Junior]] alone in [[The Gorgs' Castle|the castle]] overnight for the first time; he has to protect the crown jewel. [[Gobo Fraggle|Gobo]] thinks that all the [[Gorgs]] have left, so he plans to map the castle, and ends up leading an expedition to explore the castle when Wembley decides (a final choice, for once) to come along. He keeps worrying about the Gorgs planning to eat him. The other Fraggles pull a prank during the episode by sounding like a ghost, then they enter the castle. [[Boober Fraggle|Boober]] tries to find the Gorg pantry, and they think a grandfather clock is a Gorg closet, so they store a "shiny black ball" (a crown jewel) in it. Junior Gorg finds the Fraggles after making some garlic popcorn. Gobo spots a moving shadow outside, and the Fraggles set a trap. They catch Pa Gorg, who is pround of Junior for fulfilling the Gorgish rites of passage.

Ma and Pa Gorg leave Junior alone in the castle overnight for the first time. While they are gone, Junior has to protect the crown jewel. Gobo thinks that all the Gorgs have left, so he plans to map the castle with a frightened Wembley tagging along. Red Fraggle, Mokey Fraggle, and Boober Fraggle decide to pull a prank to scare Gobo and Wembley by making ghostly sounds after which they too enter the castle.

Meanwhile, Doc builds a fake ghost detector just to make Sprocket feel safe. However, due to a short circuit, the contraption's alarm is activated scaring Sprocket even more.
