He also spots "Elephants Illustrated" which reminds him how much he likes pretending to be an elephant. He lets out a trumpeting noise, which is so good it attracts the attention of a real elephant. Finally, he asks Mr. Handford for "Cuckoo Clocks and Gardens," but Hooper's doesn't have a copy of it, so Sir John pretends to read it, and the elephant joins him in saying "cuckoo!" | ||
