COLD OPEN | In the yard, Telly eagerly awaits as Gordon plugs in a television set. He, Telly (with Freddy), Maria, Luis, Gabi and the kids tune into the WormTV broadcast of the first-ever "Worm Winter Games" from Squiggleville, France, where Slimey is competing. Host Tim McCarver presents the opening ceremonies, as the worms march with their respective flags. Oscar is certain Slimey will win and begins arguing with the French Grouch.
SCENE 1 | The games begin with the first event - cross-country skiing. Since the worms are so small, they will ski across a map of France, rather than the whole country. Tim answers all of Telly's questions about the event through the television, and the race begins. Slimey falls down during the race, allowing resident worm Escargo to take first place. Telly is upset that Slimey has lost, but Gordon assures him there's other events for him to win.
