COLD OPEN | Telly, dressed in cape and triangular glasses, greets the "earthlings" by announcing today's sponsors and introducing himself as Triangle Guy, a superhero who makes the world a better place for triangles ... as soon as he finds some to help. | |
SCENE 1 | In the courtyard, Gordon helps Elmo and some kids make a tunnel with blocks for a toy train to go through. "Triangle Guy" emerges and explains his purpose, then laments that he hasn't found a triangle to save in the two days he's been around. Gordon then places a triangle on top of the block tower, then he and Elmo pretend it needs to be rescued before the train crashes into the tower. Triangle Guy worries at first, then saves the triangle just in time. He whooshes off to find more triangles to save. | |

A girl stops by and tells Maria, in Spanish, that a penguin took a triangular piece of her jigsaw puzzle, and won't give it back. Triangle Guy tells the girl, "¡Llevame al penguino!" and she leads him to the penguin. | |

In Telly's imagination, he knocks the penguin out cold with a sucker-punch, and the penguin is taken away on a stretcher by two paramedics (David Rudman and Joey Mazzarino). Telly is then taken to court, where the jury consists of penguins. The judge (The Count) sentences Telly to one, two, three, four, five years in jail, and Telly finds himself behind bars. | |

Back in reality, a guilt-ridden Telly is relieved that he didn't hurt the penguin. Gina tells him to think of a more civil way to get back his costume. He ultimately decides to talk to the penguin and tell him how he feels, but first he needs Gina's help in catching him, so she joins the chase. | |

- David Rudman performs the penguin for most of the episode; the only exception is during Telly's fantasy, where he is played by Jerry Nelson for a brief gasp.
