Gordon tells Preston that they just arrived, but Susan's father agrees with Preston and says that they should give the present to Miles now. The gift turns out to be a Dun Dun drum that came all the way from Africa, where Miles’ great great grandma and grandfather come from. Preston replies that it is the same drum that Miles got for his birthday. Susan’s father doesn’t think it is the same because you can talk with the beats of the drum. When Miles shows them the same drum, Preston thinks that Susan's parents have to bring the drum back to Africa.
