SCENE 5 Grundgetta notes that Sleeping Beauty, the prince and horse have all returned to their castle, as the Grouches continue their observations. Over at the shop, Luis brings Maria their lunch - salad and milk. Suddenly, two cows appear bearing signs reading, "No More Milk." They are on strike and refuse to produce any more milk until their farmer gives them grass to eat. The farmer appears and informs them that since there hasn't been much rain on the farm, the grass can't grow properly. The cows note the only green things around are Maria and Luis' salads, which they then eat.
