Luis says they had agreed on tomorrow, but Snuffy explains he got mixed up; luckily, he thinks that Luis doesn't look too busy and leaves. Luis and David bring Alice over to play with Irvine, who says "Blecch!" They try to explain that Grouches say stuff like that all the time, but Alice turns it into a game, pretending to scram every time Irvine says it. The grown-ups return to the lesson. | |

Snuffy returns to retrieve Alice, who greets him by saying "Blecch!" David assures Snuffy that she'll probably forget the word on the way home, but Snuffy says Snuffleupaguses never forget. Being a big brother isn't easy - not only does he have to teach her how to talk, he has to teach her how not to talk. Alice leaves with Snuffy, repeating the word "Blecch!" as Irvine gives a sinister giggle. | |
