SCENE 1 Elmo enters The Fix-It Shop to tell Maria and Luis he has a sick friend. His friend turns out to be his radio, which won't turn on for him. Luis fixes the loose wire inside it and it begins playing Elmo's favorite music, a Beethoven symphony.

SCENE 2 Elmo later starts his own Fix-It Shop, where Maria pretends to have an emergency - her popsickle stick is broken in half. Elmo isn't sure how to fix it, so he pretends to be the store manager, then the owner, and ultimately he has his friend Maria fix it.

Cartoon A young bespectacled man with an accordion asks how much it costs to cross the bridge. The Bridgekeeper says admission is free, but requires that the young man show him three triangles. Two of them are found in the bridgework, and the man uses the bridgekeeper's staff to draw a third triangle in the dirt. Although the bridgekeeper has his order filled, he asks the man to play a tune on his accordion. This additional request takes the young man by surprise, but he is told to do so for the opportunity to cross the bridge.

Celebrity John Moschitta, Jr. plays Porter Pepper of Peter Piper's "P" Products, which produces products that begin with the letter "P". He mentions that two of his clients were Peter Pan and Pablo Picasso until Peter Piper, the boss, gives him a phone call. Pepper now presents a new problem: Peter Piper's "P" Products has been purchased, and is now Sam Singer's "S" Stuff Store. Pepper, without stalling, summons his staff to stand by, switches his products to stuff, and searches for snacks and saucers.

When he shouts "One!", the echo repeats back, "ยกUno!" The cowboy is startled. "Two!" he shouts, and the echo repeats, "ยกDos!" "You s'pose that's Mexico over there?" he asks. He continues to count to ten, with the echo repeating the numbers back in Spanish. Frustrated, he shouts, "How are you?" "ยกMuy bien, gracias!" is the reply. "Oh, this is ridiculous," the cowboy says, and throws his cowboy hat into the canyon. A sombrero is thrown back in return.

Finally, Guy Smiley comes in and loudly announces that he would like to BUY a PIE. Cookie then knows what he can get in the bakery that rhymes with BUY and is delicious: it's GUY! A chase ensues, and Cookie asks the baker to send him the bill.
