	SCENE 1	Oscar welcomes the viewer to Sesame Street and shows the viewer his great new invention: "Grouch earplugs". With them, he can't hear anything, like Gordon and Susan arguing about important things they have to do. That doesn't help, so she decides to drop him off at the meeting, go off to do her errands, and then pick him up. Oscar realizes that without his Grouch earplugs, he can't hear what they're arguing about.

	Muppets	Sesame Street News Flash: Kermit encounters a distressed Little Bo Peep, whose sheep is missing. They both observe every sheep that walks by - the first sheep has its tail in front (on its face); the second one has its tail in the middle (on its back), and the third one has no tail. The fourth one has a tail where it should be: behind. However, it claims to be Mary's little lamb. Kermit tells us to stay tuned for updates on the search for the lost sheep. (EKA: Episode 1084)

	SCENE 2	Linda tells Bob in sign language that she got good news in a letter: "Her old friend from Vermont is coming here today." He has wavy blonde hair, blue eyes, and is sort of stocky. He suddenly shows up and Bob believes that is who they've been waiting for. His name is revealed to be Ed (played by Ed Waterstreet). Bob helps carry his suitcases.
	Cartoon	Billy Jo Jive: After Bad News Barton fails to make the swimming team, Billy and Smart Suzie teach him to eat healthier. (EKA: Episode 1733)
	Muppets	Ernie and Bert: Ernie turns on the radio to hear his favorite exercise show, Get Moving. He engages the viewer to do all the exercises he does, such as touching toes and jumping. 	Animation	Marty the chair keeps bumping into things, until he finds his glasses. "See ya later!"

	Muppets	At a library, Cookie Monster asks an Anything Muppet librarian for various books...and a box of cookies. Ultimately, he asks him for just a box of cookies. He becomes extremely frustrated because Cookie Monster doesn't understand that they don't have cookies! He finally asks for a book about cookies...and a glass of milk! Then, since the library doesn't have milk either, he asks for a book about cookies and a glass of juice. (EKA: Episode 0897)
