Gobo is selected to write the Glory Song, and he asks all the Fraggles not to sing for a little while so that he can concentrate. Just as he starts to get a handle on the song, the lights go out all over Fraggle Rock, and all the Fraggles fall asleep. Eventually, only Gobo is left to figure out how to bring the light back to the Rock.

Fraggle Facts

• Once every generation, a Fraggle is chosen by random draw to write the Glory Song, a commemoration of that cycle of the cave. The song is a major part of the Fraggles' oral history, and Gobo's selection is an enormous honor.

Notes

• This episode illuminates one of the big mysteries of Fraggle Rock -- if they live in underground caves, where does all the light come from?

• In Uncle Matt's postcard, he meets a street musician playing a guitar. This musician is Phil Balsam, who writes all the Fraggles' music.
