SCENE 3 Linda is folding clothes next to Telly in the yard when he tells her it's time to go to Bob's apartment. She leaves, and Telly notifies the viewer that they're going to be doing something "a little bit different" when it's time to say goodbye. Suddenly, the closing music starts and Telly tries to shout to Linda up at Bob's window to give her a cue for whatever it is they're doing. When he realizes she can't hear him he orders the closing music to be stopped, only for Dr. Nobel Price to then arrive at the scene. Telly begs for him to invent something that could get Linda's attention, so he runs off to his lab to invent something.

SCENE 4 Dr. Price comes back with the "Get Linda's Attention When She's In Bob's Apartment" invention, fueled by pineapples. On top, there is a viewhole that Telly peeks through, and will be able to see the chain of actions that will light a lightbulb perched on Bob's windowsill. Inside the machine a pineapple is dropped, which wakes up a tiny chicken causing it to cross a road in order to get to the other side. Because the chicken is still sleepy, it doesn't notice all the cars on the road honking; a nearby tiny Izzy Honker mistakes the noise for a gaggle of Honkers, which leads him to decide to start a Honker baseball game. During the game the Honker slides over to second base, tearing his pants. A crowd member yells, "Izzy tore his pants!" which, nearby, Slimey's dancing sister Isadora Dunkworm mistakes for "Isadora, dance!" Isadora and her fellow dancers begin to dance, and after they finish the audience goes off to the pizza parlor, closing the door to the theater behind them, which is tied to a string that turns on Linda's light when closed.

SCENE 4
cont'd
After all that happens, Linda gets her cue and begins rolling out the sponsors on clothes over the clothesline. Telly announces them, and Gordon walks in questioning the peculiar machine. Telly and Dr. Price are stumped when Gordon points out they could've simply gone up to Bob's apartment and tell Linda themselves, and the two ponder this option as Gordon finishes with the CTW slogan.

Notes[]

  • The dance music for Isadora and her friends would later be recycled for the Letter of the Day Pageant, played during the letter T's tap dancing demonstration.
