	SCENE 1	At night, the adults are getting ready to go home and go to bed. Meanwhile, Oscar the Grouch waits in anticipation (with the viewer) for what happens once they get inside and turn off their lights: the nocturnal jazz musician known as Hoots the Owl starts playing his saxophone and bothering everyone. Of course, Hoots apologizes for waking everyone up, and starts playing a soft lullaby, which disappoints Oscar.

	Muppets	Harvey Kneeslapper sets up a bucket of confetti above a door, so that whoever pulls the rope attached to the bucket will get the confetti dumped on them. Instead, a little girl walks by and pulls the rope, so that the confetti lands on Harvey! (EKA: Episode 1129)
	Cartoon	E for elephant, eagle, everything, and egg. (EKA: Episode 2059)
	Muppets	Forgetful Jones forgets what he has to do at night. Clementine tells him it involves using a toothbrush, and he remembers that he and Buster the Horse have to brush each other's teeth. Remade version

	Muppets	The Count extinguishes electric candles by counting them with his finger. As he heads up the stairs for bed, he steps on Fatatita. He also tells his wolf Yuba to run and play with his friends. (EKA: Episode 0685)
	Cartoon	A man sets up a bus stop sign so that a giant can eat the buses that come.
	Muppets	The Two-Headed Monster drives a car, but puts on the seat belt first.

	SCENE 2	While Hoots continues playing his lullaby, Maria emerges in her nightgown to see if she locked the door to the Fix-it Shop. She didn't lock it, so she goes inside to make sure they haven't been robbed. Just then, a fire truck passes by, which wakes up Big Bird. He gets up, and notices that the Fix-it Shop is open, and the light is on - he thinks they're supposed to be closed. He goes over to investigate, and before Hoots can tell him, he guesses what happened. Maybe a big gust of wind opened the door, or maybe some Martians are looking for Maria. He throws his blanket over what he assumes to be a Martian, but is actually Maria. She gives him his blanket back, and assures him there were no Martians. Once Big Bird gets back to his nest, she wonders again if she locked the Fix-it Shop door ... (which she did).
	Cartoon	An alien asks a boy for directions to the baseball diamond. Artist: Bill Davis (EKA: Episode 2107)
	Muppets	Ernie and Bert: Ernie won't let Bert into the apartment. At first, Bert is sad -- but then he thinks Ernie might be hiding something, which makes him mad. He demands to be let in -- and finds that Ernie has thrown him a surprise party. Guests at the party include Roosevelt Franklin, Herbert Birdsfoot, Prairie Dawn, Sherlock Hemlock, Grover, Guy Smiley, and a Mailman. (EKA: Episode 0724)

	Muppets	Ernie and Bert have a balloon on a post of both their beds. Ernie thinks they'll last forever, but Bert explains that balloons don't last forever. Ernie doesn't want to see them deflate, so he insists that they let the balloons go; that way the last time they see them, they'll be "fat and floaty". They let them fly out the window, and as soon as they get back into bed, Ernie, breaking the promise he made Bert that he'd go to sleep if they let the balloons go, asks Bert if the balloons are too cold up in the sky, and whether they'll end up in China. Frustrated, Bert throws a fit. Ernie asks him to keep it down. (EKA: Episode 1781)
	Animation	Blue, red and yellow ovals play "Old MacDonald."
	Film	A kindergarten class learns how to clap out and dance their names.

	SCENE 4	In the morning, Hoots hangs out beside Oscar's trash can and realizes it's time for him to sleep. Oscar wonders why Hoots goes to sleep in the morning, and Hoots remarks, "Doesn't everybody?" Just then, the garbage men come and pick up Oscar's trash can so they can empty it! They hear Oscar's voice from inside, put his trash can back, and let him off with a warning. Hoots is astonished that Oscar does this every morning. Oscar answers, "Doesn't everybody?"
	Muppets	Sesame Street News Flash Kermit witnesses as Don Music tries to rewrite "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star." He succeeds and is joined by a country-western band, who sings "Whistle, Whistle, Little Bird."
	Animation	I see a 3! Do you see a 3?
	Celebrity	Itzhak Perlman and a girl demonstrate their strengths and weaknesses. (EKA: Episode 1563)
	Transition	A rectangle tries to fit itself into the screen. (EKA: Episode 1257)
