SCENE 1 | Miss Blechman is visiting Sesame Street and pesters Luis to try and guess what she does for a living. Given her clues of working in a classroom, receiving apple cores from young Grouches, and dirtying up her blackboard, Luis knows that she is a Grouch teacher and is there to see Oscar, who was her best pupil. The two visit Oscar's trash can, where Oscar sings a Grouch version of "Bein' Green" to himself while messing up the place. Upon seeing his old teacher he exclaims, "Is it ever rotten to see you!" before ducking into his can.
