	SCENE 1	Susan and Gordon welcome the viewer to Sesame Street, and explain their process of baby-proofing the apartment in order to keep little Miles safe. They're taking any breakable objects and placing them on the shelf out of Miles' reach.
	SCENE 1 cont'd	As they go into the other room to change Miles' diaper, Big Bird comes in and notices Gordon's antique telescope and a flower vase sitting on shelves, when they should be on the coffee table. He proceeds to move them there, but Gordon and Susan come back into the room and explain why they moved those objects. Then they give Miles back his toys.
	SCENE 1 cont'd	Big Bird assures them they don't have to worry about Miles knocking anything down, but as he turns around, his tail accidentally knocks over a jar of pebbles. He laments, "I guess we baby-proofed the apartment, but now we ought to bird-proof the apartment."
	Film	Human and animal babies learn to walk.
	Muppets	The Twiddlebugs don't understand why they are getting all wet, while Mommy Twiddlebug isn't. They soon learn it's because she's inside the house. After they all huddle inside, Ernie finishes watering his plants.

	SCENE 2	Big Bird tries to think of something to do with baby Miles. He suggests reading, and picks up a newspaper. Gordon is doubtful of this idea, but tries it anyway: "Leading members of Congress have been skeptical about prospects for passage of the amended tax package...." Miles makes a fuss before Gordon is finished, and Big Bird now says that it's a silly idea to read a newspaper to a baby.
	SCENE 2 cont'd	Having scrapped the newspaper idea, Gordon reluctantly picks up a letter and starts reading it: "Dear Sir or Madam, This is to inform you that your subscription is about to expire." Miles blows a raspberry, and Big Bird calls it boring. Then Big Bird picks up a book called Baby's First Picture Book, which Gordon thinks Miles would like. It's got pictures of a dog, airplanes, shoes, teddy bears, and other things. Miles does like it!
	Muppets	Ernie and Bert: Ernie gives Bert's nephew Brad some bath toys to play with. (EKA: Episode 1134)

	Celebrity	George Benson sings "The Greatest Love of All" to some children.
	Muppets	Grover and Mr. Johnson: Grover the messenger goes to Mr. Johnson's home to deliver some singing telegrams which he has memorized. After singing a series of wrong telegrams, he sings (and dances) another one that actually is for Mr. Johnson, and an important one at that, but Grover does not remember who it is from. 	SCENE 3	Susan and Gordon quietly admire Miles as he sleeps, when Olivia comes in and proceeds to take a picture of them.
	SCENE 3 cont'd	Luis and Maria come in to see Miles, and Olivia seizes the photo opportunity once again.
	SCENE 3 cont'd	David, Telly, and Homer Honker also want in on the sight of Miles sleeping. Olivia is about to snap another picture, when there's another knock on the door! Gordon answers it. It's Oscar, who yells, "Hey, Curly, what's happenin'?" and Gordon tells Oscar to keep it down because they're watching the baby sleep. When Olivia asks if Oscar wants in, he snaps, "No way! I hate lookin' at sleepin' babies!" which causes Miles to wake up and cry.
	Animation	George the Farmer demonstrates noisy and quiet. (EKA: Episode 0931)
	Muppets	Grover: Grover appears in a library to tell the viewers about what a library is. The librarian, however, keeps telling Grover to be quieter, until he can barely even be heard. (EKA: Episode 1858)
	Cartoon	Jazz #8 (First: Episode 0016)
	Muppets	Kermit at Home: While Kermit is at home typing his autobiography, salesmonster Telly comes to his doorstep and asks if Kermit wants to buy a head warmer. Telly keeps worrying he's not doing a good job, and that Kermit won't want one. But Kermit reassures him that since he does have a head, he will have a use for a head warmer, unlike the things Grover sells (toothbrushes, earmuffs, and nose warmers). When Kermit puts the head warmer on, it covers his entire head. Telly remarks, "Kermit! It's -- it's you!"
	SCENE 4	Now Gordon wants to get Miles to go back to sleep. He tries holding and rocking him, and Luis suggests that a lullaby would do the trick. Everyone (except Oscar) then sings "Hush, Little Baby" to Miles. Oscar decides to leave, but not without slamming the door.
	Muppets	Kermit sings "In the Quiet of the Evening".
	Cartoon	Monster in the dark (finding a light switch). (EKA: Episode 0823)
	SCENE 5	At night, Maria stops by Oscar's trash can to give him some trash, courtesy of baby Miles. Oscar learns that Miles is now asleep, and observes, "He needs to rest." Maria says it's nice of him to understand that, and Oscar explains, "He needs to rest because he'll need his strength to cry some more tomorrow!" Maria adds playing and laughing to the list of things Miles will do tomorrow, and gives Oscar a goodnight kiss.
