- Bunsen suggests they do a show titled Leave It To Beaker, a parody of Leave It to Beaver. Barbara Billingsley, who voiced Nanny, portrayed June Cleaver on that show.
- This episode's title (which is also said by Rowlf at one point) is a play on the motto "I want my MTV!"
