They part, and Big Bird bumps into Gordon who has the same items for Susan, also as a surprise. They part and Big Bird says it will be interesting to see how adults deal with this situation, so he watches Gordon and Susan interact with one another on the street. As they reveal their surprises, they're both delighted at what they have done for one another, and decide to compromise on their evening plans, but can't decide who will do the dishes. Maria happens by, gets an invite to dinner, and Big Bird is surprised at how well it all turned out.

Big Bird says he's got to match the piece of clothing to the part of the body it goes on. Elmo goes out of view while Big Bird quietly explains to the viewer where each garment goes. Elmo comes back into view wearing a hat, scarf, and galoshes all wrong, proclaims that he's won the game, thanks Big Bird, and leaves.

SCENE 5 Big Bird returns to his nest with the items from his game with Elmo and is greeted by Snuffy who, upon seeing the winter clothes, gets angry at him for going to the North Pole without him. Big Bird explains that he used them for a game, Snuffy apologizes for jumping the gun, and suggests they play a game about matching pieces of clothing to what parts of the body they go on. Gordon announces the sponsors and the credits follow. So ends the 15th season of Sesame Street.
