Gordon and Oscar both read newspapers on a quiet day and witnessed that Hooper's Store was going on a renovation, following his death. They realized that the closing and renovation were both going on.

Old West sketches: Dentist - A cowboy who needs a dentist comes to see Adam T. Glaser, who is such a jack-of-all-trades that he forgets what a dentist does.

Sign Cartoons: Coffee - A construction worker descends from off-screen sitting on an I-beam, requesting two regular coffees, and 20 more with sugar. He also asks for tea. (EKA: Episode 1169)

Children and animals numbered 1-12 race in a marathon. The #9 runner wins. (EKA: Episode 0926)

Cartoon: Bob reads the kids a story about seven mice, with some animated mice displaying the story.

Film: Maria (as Charlie Chaplin) tries to throw away a newspaper into a rapidly moving litter can. When she finally does, the exit door also moves and she breaks down the wall.

Muppets: Two-Headed Monster: Snowman - The monster has built a two-headed snowman and struggles with how to apply a carrot nose.
