SCENE 1 Big Bird welcomes the viewers, and says the Camp Echo Rock gang will be going on a hike. Aunt Mae first makes sure that Big Bird and the kids have packed everything they'll need for the overnight trip on the mountain; when asked about food, Big Bird indicates that Radar has packed the relish in his tiny knapsack. Aunt Mae shows the group one of the arrows they'll be following that leads to the end of their trail, and everyone starts their trek!

Big Bird spots a giant rock and wonders if it's their destination. Mickey encourages him to try it out, and to his, Rusty, and the other kids' surprise, the rock seems to repeat everything they say! It turns out to be a trick as Aunt Mae and her group from Cabin 3 reveal they've been hiding behind it the whole time. Big Bird is also surprised that Mickey helped them with it, and jokingly warns him not to do it again.

Luis helps Telly write a letter back to the camp, and makes sure that Big Bird knows they're still friends.

Muppets Waiter Grover: Mr. Johnson orders soup and a sandwich, and says that he wants the sandwich before the soup. When Grover comes with the sandwich, Mr. Johnson has changed his mind and wants the soup first. When Grover comes with the soup, Mr. Johnson has decided that he wants the sandwich first. Grover ends up giving Mr. Johnson both the soup and sandwich, so he can decide what to eat first. Mr. Johnson tells Grover that he has decided to get a cup of coffee, then the soup and the sandwich.

SCENE 5 After leading everybody in cheers, Aunt Mae is going to teach everyone the official camp song. Big Bird says that they don't know the words, but Aunt Mae explains that the song is an echo song; all they have to do is repeat what they say and do (hence why they call the place Echo Rock). Aunt Mae and Mickey then lead everybody in doing "The Echo Rock."

They think that tomorrow they'll have to walk a hundred miles back to the camp, but as they settle down to sleep, the camera widens to show that they're right next to their cabin. Mickey whispers the sponsors before going to get some sleep himself.
