Muppets Ernie and Bert cooperate to make Ernie's bed. Ernie notices that on his bed, which Bert is preparing, there is one side where the blanket is shorter than the other. Bert suggests that Ernie and him cooperate while making the blanket even on both sides, in the process the blanket is shorter at one side than the other.
SCENE 2 Telly tells Oscar about how he misses Big Bird. Oscar isn't happy either, because Big Bird is probably breathing fresh air, making friends, and having fun.
Film Children of all kinds sing "We All Sing with the Same Voice."
Cartoon A boy talks about his pet letter Y, named Yetta.

Muppets Old West: Sinister Sam announces that someone has bought the last box of crayons, and he wants to know why. It turns out that he just wants a crayon so he can learn how to draw the letter Y.

SCENE 3 Aunt May does a mail call. Big Bird thinks about what Snuffy is doing on Sesame Street, and almost misses getting a huge postcard from him. The other campers getting mail are Lisa Simon, Joan Ganz Cooney, Emily Squires, Ozzie Alfonso, Dulcy Singer, Janet Shapiro (researcher), Jon Stone, Thelma Moses, Al Hyslop, and Jeff Moss.
Cartoon A boy learns to put his mom's letter in the mailbox all by himself (with a little help).

Muppets Ernie and Bert: Ernie is sad because it's raining, and he can't play baseball. Bert encourages him to imagine that he's playing instead. In Ernie's imagination, he hits a high fly ball that lands in the ocean. Bert tells Ernie that the sun is out, and he can go out and play now. Ernie says that he can't play -- his ball fell in the ocean.
