After measuring the kids, Marcia asks if there's anybody else she can measure, and Luis suggests Big Bird and Barkley. Marcia assumes that both the bird and the dog are very short and gets close to the ground to await the arrival of the two. When they get there Marcia gets back up and faints, overwhelmed at the sight of the pair.

While explaining this to Luis, the bus arrives and takes off again. Luis says all of their talking made Julie miss the bus, but she says it's not true: she saw it come and go, and didn't miss it at all. Julie and Big Bird resolve not to miss the other buses as Luis considers taking a nap after witnessing the strange ordeal.

Bob says Big Bird can imagine his activities to remember where he left Barkley, but Big Bird insists on acting each one out as it's more fun. He plops down in his nest to pretend to sleep, then gets up to wash his face and have a leisurely (second) breakfast.

When Bob is convinced he hasn't left anything else out, Big Bird tells him that he asked David to feed Barkley for him at the store, and wonders if that's where he is still. They come to the store and find Barkley, who happily greets Big Bird; Bob is less than amused.

Bob chuckles at David's misfortune before going to bed, and David continues doing some push-ups as Luis announces the sponsors.
