SCENE 1 Big Bird has his beak deep in a book, so engrossed in it that he almost bumps into Sheldon and Cody who are on their way to the doctor to get Cody his immunizations. Big Bird agrees on how important this is, as he's been reading all about child care and offers to be a consultant should he and Buffy need his help.

SCENE 1 Down the street, Big Bird meets a Muppet woman (Richard Hunt) who is also on her way to the doctor with her baby Rodney, asking Big Bird what to do when her baby refuses to cooperate during the visit. Big Bird uses the book to give her some tips, and the woman asks further about what to feed him. Big Bird is surprised to hear that she's been letting Rodney chew on raw hamburger or old shoes, and discovers that the "baby" the woman is pushing in her carriage is actually a dog!
