Mopatop opens the episode by offering perfume that's smelly, a Shouting Yelly or a flower called Shelly.
It's Moosey Mouse's bath time in the attic, and his bathtub leaks down from the attic into the shop. Meanwhile, a squid named Ozzie comes into the shop, looking for a puddle to splash around in. Mopatop and Puppyduck look in the Rainy Day Box, but all they find are things to do inside on a rainy day, like drawing supplies.
The dripping water from Moosey's bathtub creates a puddle on the floor of the shop, and Ozzie is thrilled. The squid sings a splashing song as he plays in the puddle, which is echoed by Moosey's bathtub song in the attic. Mopatop wraps up the puddle for Ozzie, and then sets to work mopping up the floor.
A storybook adaptation, Trouble with a Puddle, was published in 1999.
