Pa Gorg, self-proclaimed King of the Universe, is upset that he doesn't have any loyal subjects. Junior Gorg catches Wembley in the garden -- and Wembley, ever eager to please, becomes Pa's subject. His friends are determined to rescue him from the Gorgs, but even when they're caught in Junior's trap, Wembley refuses to leave.

Notes: This episode is the first appearance of Pa and Ma Gorg. Actually, this is Ma Gorg Mark I, an uglier version with stringy hair and a permanent frown. She gets a face-lift after the first twelve-episode production block.

In this episode, Doc mentions his friend Ned Shimmelfinny, and Shimmelfinny's cat Fluffinella. Mr. Shimmelfinny never appears in the series, but he's mentioned often, and he becomes very important at the end of the series.
