SCENE 1 Mr. Hooper sweeps up the leaves in the yard, putting them in a box when he's finished. After resting a bit, he notices that a small pile of leaves have returned to where he just swept up. He disposes of the leaves, but once his back is turned the same thing happens. After finding more leaves scattered a third time, he catches The Count in the act of dumping more leaves. Of course, the Count has been busy counting all of the leaves that Mr. Hooper is sweeping up and asks him to do more.

Muppets Western: Four Anything Muppet cowboys put up a Wanted poster for "the Great Cookie Thief," who's been stealing cookies from all the bakeries in these here parts. Cookie Monster is standing in front of the poster, and the others suspect that he's the Great Cookie Thief -- he has the same googly eyes, the same blue fur, and the same Western hat. They confront Cookie Monster, but he denies the charge: "Not have same mustache!" He shouts, "Look over there!" -- and while they're distracted, he draws a mustache on the poster. They apologize -- but then Cookie Monster takes off his hat, and cookies fall out. The Great Cookie Thief makes his escape.

SCENE 2 Gordon and David encounter Sam the Robot, who is speaking too fast to understand. They find his “fast/slow” dial and discover that it's loose. David tries to adjust it so they can understand Sam, but Sam ends up talking too slow instead and the men are unable to get him to talk properly. David borrows a screwdriver from Luis and adjusts Sam's dial until it's working efficiently again. Now talking at his normal speed, Sam informs Gordon and David that his "fast/slow" dial is in need of repair. Since it's just been fixed Sam thanks David and Gordon: "Thank you... thank you.. thank you..."

Ernie, however, is now convinced that a fish melted the ice cubes, and angrily walks out the door to "tear him fin-from-fin."

Too bad; I'll come back when you're here," says Big Bird before trotting off, handing his bugle to the befuddled storekeeper.

SCENE 5 Oscar notices David looking miserable. David talks about the rotten day he’s having so far, having a cancelled date with Maria and shattering a mayonnaise jar on the ground. Oscar mutually mopes about the day he’s having, with all the yucky sunshine pouring into his trash can and birdsongs in the fresh air. They try to cheer each other up, but their efforts backfire as they have differing perspectives on what makes a good day. Instead, David leaves to think about the sun shining and birds singing while Oscar goes to make his own mess with mayonnaise on his kitchen floor (throwing in some coffee grounds for good measure).
