	SCENE 1	Oscar the Grouch plays his tape of self-recorded animal sounds for Maria and the kids to guess. However, all of the animals make angry noises such as screeching birds, yowling cats, and growling dogs. Throughout the game Maria, Bob, and Mr. Hooper react negatively to all the loud sounds and tell him to knock it off, though Oscar continues to turn up the sound instead. They all crowd around his trash can to give him a piece of their minds, which Oscar secretly records and shows off the playback.

	SCENE 3	Sitting at the newsstand at Hooper's Store, Bob witnesses Oscar at the bus stop. Whenever a bus comes along, Oscar begins to yell and argue with each of the drivers until they refuse to let him on and leave. After three buses have come and gone Bob chides Oscar for his attitude, but Oscar reveals that he isn't planning to ride any of the buses. He says that the drivers are actually his friends, and when he has nobody else to grouch at he exchanges insults with them.
