	SCENE 1	Mr. Hooper and Susan talk to the kids and Sam the Robot about what rhyming is. Sam shows off his rhyming prowess with the word "red." Susan thinks that's great, which cues Sam to start spouting out rhymes for "great." He continues to rhyme with whatever word Susan and Mr. Hooper end their sentences with until they get Sam to list words that rhyme with "pie." Sam ends with "goodbye," which the others use as an excuse to escape.

	Film	Two glasses are filled with fluid, but one glass overflows as a hand keeps pouring into it. The same thing happens using salt shakers and bowls of nuts. Finally, the glasses are filled again, only one glass barely fills up as fluid is poured into it. 	SCENE 3	At Hooper's Store, Susan and Bob want to buy some softballs for a game with the kids. Mr. Hooper says he’s all out because someone already bought all of them from his and other distributors. They soon learn the culprit was the Count, who brings the entire collection of softballs he purchased after counting them. He intends to count them all again when Susan invites him to be a scorekeeper in their game, which involves counting hits and strikes. The Count agrees to join provided he lets them use one of his softballs.

Big Bird wonders why he doesn't get lightning and thunder when he counts things, and gives it a try by counting Bob’s hands. Big Bird looks up at the sky when he's finished, but doesn’t get an enthusiastic response.

	SCENE 5 cont'd	As it starts to look like rain, Big Bird tries counting his toes to get his thunder and lightning, but nothing happens. He then tries counting the windows of 123 Sesame Street (even trying out the Count's accent and laugh) but again, nothing. Then he sees some raindrops and starts counting them when a (natural) crash of thunder and lightning occurs, making him think he caused it. He runs into Hooper’s and tells everyone the news, but it never dawns on him that there’s a real storm going on.
