Even with the films, the Count still can't remember the number. He becomes despondent, sobbing that he'll have to give up counting. Everybody (including the audience) shouts, "Three!" which finally jogs his memory. As he counts the jacks, he pranks his friends by pretending to now not remember what comes between 6 and 8. He quips, "I would never forget; do you know who you're talking about? Who could forget such a thing? I, the greatest counter since Formica!"

A bleary-eyed Bob sees Snuffy going by, and calls to tell everybody. In a reversal of roles, Big Bird hears Bob's description and gets more and more excited, but decides that he couldn't have seen a Snuffleupagus -- Snuffy doesn't have black and white stripes.
