SCENE 1 Susan reprimands Oscar for insulting her guests at the party she had last night. When Oscar tells Susan that he's getting tired of people going in and out of 123 Sesame Street, Susan replies that she's getting tired of him. Oscar then decides to move somewhere else and starts going over what he should bring - such as his piano, his statue of Benedict Arnold, and his pet goat Grishmippen. He grabs his tightly-packed suitcase and starts to shove off.

When Oscar threatens to do something drastic unless the caller stops calling, Luis has a change of heart and lets him stay.

He points to more and more broken devices, knowing exactly what they need (including the removal of a ham sandwich he stuck in Luis' clock about three years ago). Luis appreciates this, but Oscar can’t stand helping others, so he decides to leave.

Ernie encounters a machine that reads "Your Fortune Told. Insert One Cookie." Not realizing that Cookie Monster is inside the machine, he inserts the cookie. Some munching noises are heard, and a card comes out that says, "You will soon be kissed by a grateful Cookie Monster."
