• Oscar has his rock band, the Groovy Grouches, produce a rotten sound.

• The Anything Muppets sing "Goin' for a Ride", demonstrating travel by car, train and boat. (First: Episode 0037)

• Big Bird writes a love note to Maria in appreciation for a bag of birdseed she gave him. Trying to tell Maria how much he loves her, he comes up with words that rhyme with love.

• Ernie and Bert: Ernie has heard that somebody in the neighborhood is sick. He looks in a medical book to find out how to tell if someone is sick... not realizing that Bert is the one with a cold. (EKA: Episode 0543)

• Big Bird recites a poem about breathing to David, Susan, Maria and some kids.

• Story: Maria tells the story of "The King's Picnic". Everybody brings the same thing to the King's picnic, which is a huge failure. The King then asks people to bring different things.

• David, Susan and Oscar do some quickies about the letter O.

• Ernie prepares to go to the laundromat, putting numerous things in the laundry basket, including storybooks, cookies, his boots, and a radio. Before long, the basket has no room for the laundry, so Ernie decides to go play baseball instead.
