- The Anything Muppets sing "Goin' for a Ride", demonstrating travel by car, train and boat. (First: Episode 0037)
- Big Bird writes a love note to Maria in appreciation for a bag of birdseed she gave him. Trying to tell Maria how much he loves her, he comes up with words that rhyme with love.
- Ernie and Bert: Ernie has heard that somebody in the neighborhood is sick. He looks in a medical book to find out how to tell if someone is sick... not realizing that Bert is the one with a cold.
- Story: Maria tells the story of "The King's Picnic". Everybody brings the same thing to the King's picnic, which is a huge failure. The King then asks people to bring different things.
