Cookie begins to sob, when Tom arrives wanting to take some cookies due to a low supply at Hooper's Store. He offers to trade Oscar a can of sour pickles for a couple of boxes, which perks Oscar up. He fires Cookie Monster on the spot, who decides to eat the rest of the inventory.

Horrified, the Country Mouse goes back to the country, where he's safe. The City Mouse offers the cat a bite of pizza.
