Gordon stops the kids at 88 ("that's it, nobody goes past 88") and Big Bird demands to go next since he built it. He gets on an end with one kid on another, but it's not enough weight. Four kids are ultimately enough to seesaw with Big Bird, but they get so carried away that they catapult him up into the sky.

Little Bird and the kids watch him go up, and then down again. He lands in Oscar's trash can, head first, losing several feathers in the process. Oscar the Grouch offers him a cup of hot mud since he's here.

Muppets Bob reads the story of "The Magic Apple," which is acted out by Ernie, Bert and three Anything Muppets. Ernie plays a "poor but honest farm boy" who would like to marry a princess and live in a palace with Rubber Duckies and banana milkshakes. A fairy godmother grants him that wish, but only if he can pick a magic apple from a tree. A farmer attempts to help him get the apple, but doesn't succeed. Finally, Ernie rests under the tree until the apple falls into his mouth! Just then, a king arrives and chooses Ernie to marry his daughter, "the lovely Princess Gwendolinda" (Bert in drag!).

He recites some that he hasn't completed yet, and the kids fill in the blanks with the words that rhyme, which all have to do with transportation.
