SCENE 1 Brother Kirk is helping Bob play with a girl on the tire swing; he softly sings "The Farmer in the Dell." Pete Seeger arrives, and they gather Bob and the kids in the yard to sing some songs. Pete starts with "There Once Was a Man," a song where the kids can participate in by finishing his rhymes.
