SCENE 2 Gordon comes back with John, who can start his plan right away, which involves drawing it out on paper. He tries to draw his picture on top of Oscar's trash can, only for Oscar to suggest he go some place far from his home - Scranton, Pennsylvania. John instead draws it on the steps of 123 Sesame Street, as Gordon, Betty Lou, and the kids watch, drawing out a box for the kitty. He then leaves with the kids to get his tools and some wood. Oscar, who has been eavesdropping, wonders if John could put an addition onto his can.
