	SCENE 1	Susan passes some kids playing checkers, then greets the viewer. She and Gordon observe how beautiful a day it is to go driving, but Susan points out that they don't have a car. Thus, Gordon tells the kids to set up some chairs so they can all pretend they're going for a drive. Susan goes upstairs to pack a picnic lunch and change out of her work uniform, and Gordon says they'll be ready before you can count to 10 ...

	SCENE 2	Gordon has the "1949 Hudson Hornet" ready by the time Susan returns with a picnic basket. He puts the picnic basket in in the "trunk", then they all sit down and put on their "seat belts."

	SCENE 6	Big Bird approaches Susan to show her some sequential pictures he drew, so she can put them in the correct order.

Ernie rummages through the basket and answers a feather duster, a sledge hammer, an egg beater, and a banana. He hands Bert the latter, saying it's for him. A confused Bert says "hello" into banana. Ernie, who by this time has found the phone, tells whoever is calling that Bert isn't available, as he's talking on a banana.(First: Episode 0004)
	SCENE 7	Gordon encounters Oscar, who is down in the dumps because he can't think of anything to complain about. Gordon suggests the weather, but then Oscar remembers that he can call "Dial-a-Grouch", the number for which is 987-654-321. He accidentally dials 123-456-789, and ends up arguing with an eccentric character, who turns out to be another grouch named Melvin Meany.

	Muppets	Cookie Monster and Ernie: Ernie likes the film we just saw, and finds his own pair of magic glasses, which he thinks will help him see things that are invisible. He decides he'll try them after he's finished eating his plate of cookies. Cookie Monster sneaks up behind Ernie and takes a cookie while he isn't looking -- and when Ernie looks around for it, Cookie Monster sneaks another one. Finally, Ernie puts on his glasses, and catches sight of Cookie Monster. Now he's convinced the glasses are really magic -- they let him see an invisible monster! Ernie decides he doesn't want the glasses anymore, so Cookie Monster devours them as well. (First: Episode 0055)
	SCENE 9	Gordon shows Jay how to use a telescope. He looks through the one he has, and sees a letter V, then a letter O, then he sees Alphabet Bates making the letter E. (First: Episode 0061)
