  • Speech Balloon: G--Gorilla
  • Cartoon: A goat discusses the letter "G". A man comes by to also talk about G, but rather than point out that "goat" is a G word, he observes the grass. Disgusted, the goat butts the man out of the way.
  • Cartoon: "Poverty Z" -- A figure tries to sell a Z. His only customer stops him by locking him inside a zoo cage.
  • Film: Different kinds of wheels are shown and what they’re used for. (First: Episode 0013)
  • Film: A kid taking a shower explains how animals, people, and things get clean. (First: Episode 0001)
  • Ernie and Bert: Part 1: Ernie is a barber, and cuts all of Bert's hair off. Part 2: Ernie tries to disguise Bert until his hair grows back, but a monster (later known as Grover) mistakes Bert for his father. Part 3: Bert has grown his hair back, but now he talks like Cookie Monster. (First: Episode 0068)
  • Film: Two men, Big and Little, travel around playing the tuba and violin. Even though they’re different (Big has dark skin, and Little has light skin), together they make beautiful music. (First: Episode 0016)
  • Cartoon: Two boys notice a D, saying it looks fat. A resonant voice (Gary Owens) informs them that it's the letter D. This leads to a jazzy story about a dog who digs for dice, wins a duck, and buys a dinosaur with a dime. Moral: "If you dig a dinosaur, drop your duck for a dime." (First: Episode 0016)
  • Cartoon: A small man and his assistant Dudley attempt to demonstrate both the capital and lower-case letter D. (First: Episode 0016)

For the last picture (a man about to drive his car over a nail), Ernie says, "I think a monster's going to appear". Sure enough, behind Bert's back, Cookie Monster appears: "Can I have a cookie?"
