  • Alice Braithwaite Goodyshoes uses a brick wall to demonstrate around (by going around the wall), under (by pretending to climb under it), and over (by jumping over it, and crashing when she lands).
  • Ernie & BertErnie has a question for Bert, but he decides to wait until Bert is finished reading the newspaper. Ernie hums and talks to Rubber Duckie until Bert gives up reading the paper in exasperation. Then Ernie asks his question: "Can I borrow the newspaper?" (First: Episode 0042)
  • Film: A boy with magic glasses listens to the sounds of an ice cream truck, a dog, a horse galloping, and a parrot. (First: Episode 0008)
  • Film: "Head to Toe Puzzle": Two kids put together a puzzle of a boy. (First: Episode 0024)
  • Cartoon: Two boys notice a D, saying it looks fat. A resonant voice (Gary Owens) informs them that it's the letter D. This leads to a jazzy story about a dog who digs for dice, wins a duck, and buys a dinosaur with a dime. Moral: "If you dig a dinosaur, drop your duck for a dime." (aired twice) (First: Episode 0016)
  • Animation: "E Imagination": A surreal story of a boy eating a peach atop an eagle witnessing a queen on her knee, dreaming of eating ice cream in a land of steam. (First: Episode 0001)

  • Ernie & Bert — In a three-part sketch, Ernie conducts an "alphabet test" (using a poster from the Sesame Street Learning Kit). While Bert checks the poster, Ernie tries to recite the alphabet from memory. After a couple of snags, Ernie completes it. When Bert challenges him to say it backwards, Ernie turns his back from Bert and recites the alphabet, facing the poster. (First: Episode 0019)
  • Cartoon: "Count Up Elevator" -- An elevator operator stops at ten floors to pick up passengers, including a witch, a fireman, and a kangaroo. The tenth passenger, a mouse, causes the elevator to overload and explode. (aired twice) (First: Episode 0003)
  • Muppets act out the story "Golden D and the Dangerous Dragon." (First: Episode 0025)
