The doctor and nurse are a pair of Elmo Variants that appeared in the "Birthdays" episode of "Elmo's World". Dorothy imagines the birth of Elmo in which all the players are variations of Elmo himself. Elmo's Mom and Dad, here named George and Gladys Monster, are seen with the Elmo inspired doctor and nurse that delivered Baby Elmo.
