Guess what Elmo's thinking about today?
Elmo opens the door to see a clip of the video for "Skin". A video montage plays of children applying lotion, washing and doing other things with their skin.
Dorothy's Question
Dorothy has no decoration in her fish bowl. She wants to know what you do when the skin on your back itches.
The Noodle Family
Mr. Noodle tries to scratch his back on his own and then on the floor before Elmo helps scratch his back. He scratches Elmo's back in return.
Elmo's Question
Elmo asks the viewer to help him count goosebumps on a hippopotamus.
Kids and Baby
Kids demonstrate using a back scratcher, rubbing their back on a tree, and scratching one another's back. Elmo asks a baby, who laughs, and kisses the baby.
Quiz
Elmo asks yes/no questions about things that can tickle your skin. Big Bird appears to state that feathers don't tickle his skin but that sometimes his feathers need to be fluffed.
Video E-Mail
Ernie is wearing a blindfold and feels things with his hands, then guesses what they are. After feeling things that are fluffy like a rug (hair), squishy like a bath sponge (nose) and floppy like a hose (arm), he guesses that he is feeling Bert.
Film
Elmo's friend Elaine and her classmates look at their different skin colors, look at their own skin under a magnifying glass, and wet their hands under a faucet.
TV Cartoon
The All About Skin Channel shows "The Girl Who Loved Her Skin".
Interview
Elmo talks to a CGI book titled "Even Animals Have Skin". The animal illustrations escape from the book and Book leaves to go after them.
Tickle Me Land
Dorothy imagines Elmo as a chameleon. Elmo Chameleon changes colors from green to blue, green with purple polka dots, and finally pink.
