Elmo's Christmas Countdown is a 2009 Sesame Street Christmas Squeakers storybook adapting the story of the 2007 special Elmo's Christmas Countdown. The book has a squeaky Christmas tree toy built into it, and the reader is invited to squeeze the tree when the word "miracle" appears in the text.

The Christmas Counter Downer numbers have vanished, and Mr. Elf is worried that Christmas will never come again. Elmo wishes for a miracle, and all of his friends come by with numbers from the Counter Downer -- Bert, Ernie, Big Bird, Baby Bear, Super Grover and Abby Cadabby. They place the numbers into the Counter Downer, and Santa Claus appears -- it's a Christmas miracle!
