Elmo's 12 Days of Christmas is a 1996 Sesame Street storybook.

Elmo presents a monster version of "The Twelve Days of Christmas", featuring:

  • One red monster up in a tree
  • Two yummy cookies
  • Three French friends
  • Four calling monsters
  • Five golden things
  • Six monsters playing
  • Seven monsters swimming
  • Eight monsters milking
  • Nine monsters dancing
  • Ten monsters leaping
  • Eleven monsters piping
  • Twelve monsters drumming

At the end, Elmo is crowded by monsters and remarks that next time, they should sing "Deck the Halls". This scene was cut from the Jellybean Book reissue.
