Ella Mitchell (b. 1937) is an actress best known for her Broadway role of Evillene in The Wiz, and as "Big Momma" in the film Big Momma's House.

Mitchell appeared in episode 0532 of Sesame Street, where she sang "That's What My Song is For" and "The Gospel Alphabet."
