Elke Sommer (b. 1940) is a German entertainer who rose to fame as an actress in the 1960s.
In 1979, she guest starred on The Muppet Show in episode 319 where she played the role of Cleopatra. She also made an appearance on Wetten, dass..? in 1983 with Jim Henson and Kermit the Frog.
Sommer's other credits include The Pink Panther and A Shot in the Dark (both with Peter Sellers), Boy, Did I Get a Wrong Number! (with Bob Hope and Phyllis Diller), an adaptation of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None (with Charles Aznavour), the James Bond film Casino Royale, Inside the Third Reich (with Derek Jacobi), and the TV series St. Elsewhere.
