Eddie Izzard (b. 1962) is a British comedian and actor known for his rambling monologues and penchant for cross-dressing. He performed the voice of It, the Psammead, in the 2004 film Five Children and It.

In addition to a prolific career in stand-up and on stage, Izzard's other film credits include Velvet Goldmine, The Avemgers, Mystery Men (with Paul Reubens and William H. Macy), Shadow of the Vampire, the Beatles inspired Across the Universe, and Ocean's Twelve.
