Ed appeared in Sesamstrasse episode 2399.

Rumpel calls his buddy Ed when he notices that Nils is unhappy with the look of his car. Ed arrives with his tools, so they can work on the car together. A little while later, Ed has to go to a different appointment, and Nils discovers that the car is not that cool after all.

The character is played by German actor Oliver Korittke, and spoofs his role as host of MTV Central Europe's Pimp My Fahrrad (Pimp My Bicycle).
