Early Education Curriculum: A Child's Connection to the World is a textbook aimed at current and future educators and education students, focusing on how to develop age-appropriate curriculums and lesson plans for children from infancy to age eight. The book has been published in three editions to date.

Chapters are divided according to specific curricular focuses, such as math, art, music, and puppets. The puppetry chapter (chapter 5 in the second edition and chapter 11 in the third) includes five pages of interviews with Sesame Street puppeteers Caroll Spinney and Carmen Osbahr, both as themselves and answering questions in character as Big Bird and Rosita. Puppet patterns, and all other illustrations, are supplied by Laurent Linn, Jackman's son and a veteran of the Muppet Workshop.
