Dictionary letter e — Big Bird exercises near an egg while The Count exits

E is the fifth letter of the English alphabet. E was one of the brave, early sponsors of Sesame Street; it sponsored the first episode, along with S, W, 2 and 3.

The letter E was the winner of the "Letter of the Day" pageant hosted by Guy Smiley.
